Creating a profile, applying to become a teacher, and configuring your courses and availability calendar on Rubilan are all completely free of charge.

Upon the culmination of a lesson or package, Rubilan levies a commission fee of 15% based on the teacher's designated lesson price.

Please take note of the following:

  • Rubilan does not impose a commission fee for trial lessons.
  • The commission fee calculated by Rubilan is rounded up.
  • Rubilan does not entail any commission or fee for withdrawing your Rubilan credits (with the exception of express withdrawal). However, the selected payment method may involve distinct charges. (Find more details about payment methods and associated fees.)

Package Purchase Clarification:

When a student acquires a Lesson Package, Rubilan receives the total amount of Rubilan credits for that package; this amount is not attributed to the teacher.

Following each completed lesson, the teacher will receive an average package price, which is derived by dividing the total package price by the number of lessons. Rubilan's 15% fee will be deducted, and this fee is remitted to Rubilan only once all lessons within the package are concluded. This transaction will be reflected in your financial account.

Upon the package's culmination, the teacher will receive the same lesson price as before, along with the complete amount of the Rubilan commission for the entire Lesson Package. As a result, the final lesson transaction will appear higher than usual.

Subsequently, the total Rubilan Lesson Package commission will be subtracted, constituting 15% of the total package price. In instances involving "partial" Rubilan credits, the Rubilan commission will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Illustrative Example:

A student purchases a Lesson Package comprising 10 lessons for $100 in Rubilan credits.

For each completed lesson, the teacher will receive $8.50 in Rubilan credits (The average cost of one lesson is $10.00 in Rubilan credits, and the teacher receives 85% of this amount).

Upon the completion of the final lesson, the teacher will receive $23.50 in Rubilan credits ($8.50 Rubilan credits for the last lesson + $15.00 Rubilan credits for the overall Rubilan commission = $23.50 Rubilan credits).

Finally, Rubilan will deduct the $15.00 Rubilan credits commission.
